Fakt tabloid is best-selling Polish daily in December

The tabloid Fakt retained its position as the most-read daily newspaper in Poland in December 2019, according to a study by the Press Distribution Monitoring Union. The monthly sales of the newspaper, which is published by Axel Springer Polska, decreased by 6.3 percent year on year and rose by 0.5 percent month on month to 563,800 copies. Another tabloid, Super Express, was the second best-selling newspaper with 111,800 copies sold in December, down by 4.5 percent year on year and up by 0.5 percent month on month. The monthly sales of the Gazeta Wyborcza daily, published by Agora, reached 95,000 copies, down by 14.2 percent from November 2019 and by 0.1 percent month on month.
