Face masks reintroduced in Czech transport, offices

September 1st, 2020

Wearing face masks is obligatory in public transport, at state offices, in hospitals and social care homes, at indoor events with more than 100 participants and in polling stations to curb the coronavirus spread in the Czech Republic from Tuesday on. Besides, the coronavirus quarantine rules are changing as of the beginning of September. People infected with COVID-19 and their contacts must stay in isolation for up to ten days instead of 14. Those with symptoms may go out of isolation three or four days after the symptoms disappear.
