Explosives disposal exercise takes place in south Bohemia

About four dozen soldiers, including Slovak troops and members of the Texas Army National Guard, take part in the MiniGator 2019 exercise focusing on preparation of explosives disposal, Zdenek Hejpetr, from the Czech military's 15th Engineer Regiment, said today. The exercise simulates a situation before elections held in a big country where one side, whose members have a military past and experience with explosives, does not want the elections to happen, said Hejpetr, who heads the regiment's Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) centre.
