Ex-special prosecutor Dusan K. asks to be released from custody

July 13th, 2021

Former special prosecutor Dusan K. [name abbreviated due to legal reasons], has asked to be released from custody, Specialised Criminal Court (STS) judge Pamela Zaleska said during the trial on Tuesday. Dusan K. filed the respective request on Monday, and the court should decide on it by July 15. "As for the request, the court will decide on it during the main trial," said Zaleska. NAKA arrested Dusan K. in late October 2020, and he stepped down as special prosecutor while in police custody. He has asked to be released from custody before, but the court rejected his request.
