Former Slovak Intelligence Service Vladimir Pcolinsky (SIS), charged with corruption, has relinquished his membership of the Bratislava City Committee for the Protection of Public Order, with the Bratislava City Council acknowledging his decision on Thursday. The National Criminal Agency detained Pcolinsky on March 11 and accused him and ex-SIS deputy head Boris B. of accepting a bribe worth 40,000 from an entrepreneur and lawyer Zoroslav K. in August 2020 in exchange for the SIS dropping its surveillance of Zoroslav K.
