Ex Czech president: Communism not toppled by students, collapsed on its own

The fall of communism had a global character, it was defeated in Czechoslovakia by neither Czech students nor dissidents, it collapsed like any similar arrogant attempt to forcibly suppress human freedom, former president Vaclav Klaus said marking the 32nd anniversary of the Velvet Revolution's outbreak on Wednesday.
