The EU support in the case of the Vrbetice incident is vital for the Czech Republic as it can lean on it, Czech Foreign Minister Jakub Kulhanek told the German paper Suddeutsche Zeitung today. A diplomatic rift between Czechia and Russia flared up in mid-April. There was a well-founded suspicion that Russia's GRU secret intelligence service agents were involved in the Vrbetice blasts in 2014, in which two Czechs were killed.
