EU militaries should cooperate in healthcare - German Def. Min. in Prague

The armies of EU countries should cooperate on matters of health care, German Defence Minister Annegret Kramp-Karrenbauer said after meeting Czech Defence Minister Lubomir Metnar (for ANO) in Prague on Friday. Kramp-Karrenbauer said that the novel coronavirus pandemic showed that the military is capable of providing aid when needed and that it is crucial to prepare specialised medical units capable of cooperation and joint deployment. She added that a new training project will be founded in order to accomplish that goal.
