EU member states voice support for Via Carpathia - minister

The transport ministers of numerous EU states have voiced support for the Via Carpathia, a planned transnational highway network connecting Klaipeda in Lithuania with Thessaloniki in Greece, Infrastructure Minister Andrzej Adamczyk said on Thursday in Luxembourg. The Via Carpathia project was initiated in 2006 by Lithuania, Poland, Slovakia and Hungary with Romania, Bulgaria and Greece joining it in 2010 under the so-called Lancut Declaration.
