European Union finance ministers on Monday approved the Czech Republic's Recovery Plan, the EU Council has announced, and Czechs can thus receive the first part of the 180 billion crowns (EUR 7.1bn) they are eligible for from the EU's extraordinary recovery fund before the end of the month. Czechia can receive up to 13 percent of the total sum by the end of the year and the rest in the years to come.
