EU defence ministers pledge to keep supporting Ukraine in Prague

EU defence ministers agreed on the need to set up a training mission for Ukrainian soldiers, High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell said after their informal meeting in the Czech Republic today. Borrell said the ministers had not decided on launching the mission as the meeting was just informal, but they agreed on the need to take preparatory steps. EU members are ready to support Ukraine against Russian aggression as long as needed, he added.
