EU court gets Czech senator's proposal to solve interest conflict

The Court of Justice of the European Union (CJEU) has received Czech senator Lukas Wagenknecht's lawsuit against the European Council in the case of the suspected conflict of interest of Prime Minister Andrej Babis, court spokesman Balazs Lehoczki confirmed on Wednesday. Wagenknecht (Pirates) has asked the CJEU to task the European Council to set rules to prevent the conflict of interest of the member states' heads of state and government.
