EU allocates EUR 310m to Polish coronavirus protection efforts

The European Commission has approved a modification of the European Union's REACT-U scheme and opened up 310 million euros for Poland to combat the social and economic impact of the coronavirus crisis. "I am glad to approve Poland's first OP amendment under REACT-EU," Elisa Ferreira, the European commissioner for cohesion and reforms, said in a European Commission press release on Wednesday.
