Ersek: Number of tourists in Slovakia grows Y-o-y by 14.9% in 2019

Slovakia's 2019 tourism statistics saw 6,432,934 visitors, which amounts to a year-on-year growth of 14.9 percent, Minister of Transport and Construction Arpad Ersek reported at a press conference on Friday. The share of domestic visitors stood at 61.5 percent and their numbers recorded a y-o-y growth of 18.5 percent. The number of foreign tourists increased y-o-y by 9.7 percent.
