Epidemiologist Smejkal rejects offer to become health minister

Petr Smejkal, chief epidemiologist of the Institute of Clinical and Experimental Medicine (IKEM), received an offer to become the Czech health minister two weeks ago, but refused it as he prefers working in an expert group, he has said in an interview with the Reflex.cz weekly server.
