June 30th, 2020
European Parliament (EP) President David Sassoli today raised objections to the Czech government's statements that MEPs partially interfered in Czechia's internal affairs by their resolution criticising PM Andrej Babis's suspected conflict of interest. In his letter to Babis, Sassoli also condemned the threats that the Czech members of the EP Committee on Budgetary Control faced after Babis had labelled them traitors.
