EP committee chooses Pole to head EU's data protection agency

Wojciech Wiewiorowski was elected to become the next European Data Protection Supervisor (EDPS), by the European Parliament's Committee on Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs (LIBE), in Strasbourg, on Tuesday. The inspector is elected for a renewable five-year term of office.
