Environmentalists sue ministry over exception for Pocerady plant

The Greenpeace and Friends of the Earth environmental groups have filed an action against the Czech Environment Ministry over granting a mercury exception to the Pocerady power plant that enables its mercury emissions to cross the legal limits four times, Lukas Hrabek said today. Hrabek, Greenpeace's spokesman, said the complainants have proposed that the court cancel the exemption of Pocerady from the task to meet the new emission limits.
