Environmental activists submit to parliament petition with 120,000 signatures

The 'Climate Needs You' initiative has submitted a petition to Parliament on Thursday to address the climate crisis, TASR learnt on Thursday. It has been signed by more than 120,000 people. They call on MPs, Prime Minister Igor Matovic (OLaNO) and the Government to adopt climate change as one of their priorities and to take steps to address it. "The public demand for a solution to the climate crisis can no longer be ignored, and we believe that MPs perceive this in the same way," said Jakub Hrban, one of the initiators of the petition and co-ordinator of Fridays For the Future Slovakia.
