Czechia will see 1,000 hospitalised patients in serious condition at the end of October and can expect 400 to 500 those people in mid-October, the Institute for Health Information and Statistics (UZIS) head Ladislav Dusek has said based on the UZIS COVID-19 projections. He spoke at the lower house health committee recorded session on Wednesday, the material was released today. According to the latest data from Tuesday, 354 people in serious condition were in hospital, while 1,500 patients were hospitalised over COVID-19 in total.
