Preliminary data on employment collected mainly from large companies in April confirmed year-on-year growth in the number of employed individuals in eight out of ten monitored sectors of the economy, the Statistics Office has reported. Employee ranks grew most significantly in accommodation and food services -- by 16.5 percent; in restaurants and catering services -- 10.3 percent; and in the IT sector -- 5.1 percent.
