Economic sentiment indicator in Slovakia up again in May

The gradual easing of anti-pandemic measures was reflected in a significant month-on-month increase in confidence among entrepreneurs engaged in trade, services and construction in May, the Statistics Office reported on Friday, adding that confidence among consumers slightly increased as well. Meanwhile, optimism among businessmen in industry significantly decreased, which was reflected in a drop in the main confidence indicator.
