EC: Slovakia among leading EU countries for GDP growth, set to go top in 2023

In 2022, Slovakia is expected to record the sixth highest growth in gross domestic product (GDP) in the eurozone and in the EU as a whole - at 5 percent, and with expected growth of 5.1 percent in 2023 it is set to take top spot in both areas, according to winter forecasts published by the European Commission (EC) on Thursday.
