The European Commission (EC) has lowered its forecast for Poland's economic growth to 3.1 percent in 2021 and raised its expectations for 2022 to 5.1 percent. In the autumn of 2020, the EC expected the Polish economy to grow by 3.3 percent in 2021 and by 3.5 percent in 2022. However, the EC added that the latest forecast may also change, likely upwards.
