EC approves funds for railway investments in Poland

The European Commission (EC) announced on Friday that it had approved nearly EUR 128 mn from the EU budget for investments that will help modernise railway lines in Poland. The funds will be used to modernise the Warka (central Poland) - Radom (east-central Poland) line and build an automatic barrier system for the 92 km-long section between Warsaw and Radom.
