The Supreme Court has rejected an appeal submitted by Dusan K. (name abbreviated due to legal reasons), who has temporarily been suspended from the post of special prosecutor, meaning that he will remain in custody, Supreme Court spokeswoman Alexandra Vazanova told TASR on Tuesday. The senate as well as the judge for preparatory proceedings decided that custody of a preventive and anti-collusive nature was required for the person charged. At the same time, the senate rejected an appeal submitted by the defendant's wife, the spokeswoman added.
