Dolezal warns elderly Slovaks against travel

Transport Minister Andrej Dolezal on Wednesday called on pensioners to reconsider any travel plans in the current situation, adding more of them are using trains than during the first wave of the coronavirus outbreak. Dolezal said that rail carrier ZSSK had been thoroughly monitoring free rail travel, that is the movement of students and pensioners. "I must state with concern that we have roughly three times as many pensioners using free rail travel than in the first wave," said the minister.
