Dolezal: Bratislava likely won't manage to draw all resources for new tram line

October 8th, 2021

The city of Bratislava likely won't be able to draw all the money allocated in the European Funds in this programming period for the completion of the tram line to Petrzalka borough, Transport Minister Andrej Dolezal told TASR in an interview. Dolezal confirmed that a deal was in place with Bratislava Mayor Matus Vallo on spending resources left not drawn on projects in reserve, but emphasised that it doesn't change anything about the fact that the issue of financing the tram line remains open.
