Deputy PM to recommend state of emergency

Czech Deputy PM and Interior Minister Jan Hamacek will recommend that the cabinet declare a state of emergency, allowing for better distribution and implementation of protective measures, he said after a coronavirus-related emergency staff meeting today. However, PM Andrej Babis (ANO) said today that he does not support the idea.
