Delta coronavirus sub-variant AY.4.2. registered in Slovakia

The sequencing of positive novel coronavirus samples in Slovakia has identified the AY.4.2 delta sub-variant, Public Health Office spokeswoman Dasa Rackova reported on Friday. The sub-variant was detected in eight of the 2,681 analysed samples that were collected in October.
