Defendant Mako: 'I had meetings with Fico and took orders from him'

Former head of the Financial Administration's Crime Office Ludovit Mako, who has testified against several Smer-SD nominees and officials in high-stakes corruption cases, claimed that he had meetings with Smer-SD chair Robert Fico and took various orders directly from him as recently as in the summer of 2020. Mako told this to journalists after a session of the Specialised Criminal Court on the Judas case in Pezinok on Friday.
