Defence Minister Nad meets Slovak soldiers serving in Cyprus

Defence Minister Jaroslav Nad (OLaNO) and Foreign Affairs Minister Ivan Korcok (Freedom and Solidarity/SaS) on Sunday visited 240 Slovak soldiers who have been carrying out tasks within the UNFICYP peacekeeping mission in Cyprus, the Defence Ministry told TASR. Korcok and Nad also met chief of the UN peacekeeping mission in Cyprus Elizabeth Spehar and UNFICYP Force Commander Major General Cheryl Pearce, who praised the dedication of the Slovak soldiers and the manner in which they have performed their tasks.
