Defence Mininstry approaches 33 countries to submit offers for combat vehicles

Defence Ministry State Secretary Marian Majer reported on Thursday that the ministry has approached a total of 33 countries, asking them to submit offers concerning Slovakias planned purchase of tracked and armoured military vehicles. The state expects to purchase 152 tracked vehicles for 1.74 billion, including VAT, while 76 8x8 armoured combat vehicles should be procured for 332 million. The ministry will accept offers to supply combat vehicles until the end of year, with January set as the deadline in the case of tracked vehicles.
