Def min hails arrival of first PzH2000 self-propelling gun

The Hungarian military will receive its first PzH2000 self-propelling gun on Wednesday, the defence minister said on Facebook, adding that the equipment would be "instrumental in rebuilding an armoured force eliminated by the previous, leftist governments". The war in neighbouring Ukraine and the massive presence of illegal migrants along Hungary's southern border have only reinforced the government's commitment to developing the capabilities of the Hungarian armed forces, Kristof Szalay-Bobrovniczky said.
