Danko welcomes Slovak hockey team

Parliamentary Speaker Andrej Danko welcomed a gesture by the Slovak Ice-Hockey Association (SZLH), which opted to have members on the Slovak national team don jerseys with the Slovak coat of arms for the upcoming 2019 World Ice-hockey Championship hosted by Slovakia, TASR learnt on Wednesday. "I publicly thank SZLH President Martin Kohut and General Manager Miroslav Satan for putting aside politics before this great hockey event. It's really great news for Slovakia; a great opportunity to represent ourselves in the eyes of the world with our state coat of arms," Danko said.
