Daily increase in new Czech COVID-19 cases subsides after Monday record

The daily increase in the number of newly confirmed coronavirus cases fell by about a half in the Czech Republic on Tuesday, after a record recent increase on Monday, with 61 new patients raising the total number of cases to 8,647, according to the Health Ministry's data released at 09:00 am on Wednesday. The share of the new COVID-19 cases among all tested samples fell by half from Monday to Tuesday's 0.74 percent.
