Czechs send over CZK 700 m to tornado-hit Moravian area

People have sent more than 700 million crowns to foundations that have been collecting financial aid to the south Moravian municipalities hit by a tornado on Thursday, and the NGOs involved are to meet to decide on how to coordinate the distribution of the money. Part of the donations will be released in the next few days to cover the immediate needs of the people from the most afflicted villages, Hana Sedlakova, from the Nadace Via foundation, told CTK.
