Czechs must not go out without face masks as of midnight

The government on Wednesday approved a ban on going out without the mouth and nose covered valid in the Czech Republic as of midnight, Interior Ministry spokeswoman Klara Dlubalova has said. Deputy PM and Interior Minister Jan Hamacek (junior government Social Democrats, CSSD) said last night that people would be obliged to wear face masks as soon as these protective means were distributed among them.
