Czechs may acquire Leopard tanks from Germany - minister

Czechia is negotiating with Germany about a supply of the latter's Leopard tanks as replacement for the weapons Prague has sent to Ukraine faced with Russian aggression, Defence Minister Jana Cernochova has said on Czech Television. She said the negotiations in this respect have progressed and the Czech military is to acquire a version of the tank from between the older type Leopard 1 and the more modern Leopard 2.
