The Czech Republic is doing little against climate change, but when it comes to other indicators of sustainable development, it is in the global top, renowned U.S. economist Jeffrey Sachs told the Sustainable Development Forum conference today. Sachs said the EU climate policy would depend on the countries now relying on the burning of coal when generating electric energy, including the Czech Republic. The Czech Republic still has lots of work ahead of it, he added.
