Czechs are under EU average in COVID vaccination pace

The coronavirus vaccination started in the Czech Republic on December 27, at around the same time as in most EU countries and now the Czech Republic is in the 17th place in the EU in this respect. So far, 3,505,914 people have been fully inoculated, which is almost 33 percent of the total population. Malta is faring best with almost 76 percent, followed by Hungary with 52 percent and Cyprus with 41.5 percent. The EU average is 35 percent. Israel is on top of the vaccination campaign with almost 60 percent of its population.
