Czechs against war veterans status for 1968 troops in Russia

The Czech Foreign Ministry is against Russia's bill which is to give the war veteran status to the troops from the occupation of Czechoslovakia in 1968, which suppressed the Prague Spring reform movement, Foreign Minister Tomas Petricek (Social Democrats, CSSD) tweeted on Monday. Czechoslovakia's occupation sharply conflicted with international law, Petricek said.
