CzechRep upholds position opposing obligatory migrant quotas - Deputy PM

The Czech Republic continues to be against the system of long-term compulsory quotas on redistribution of non-EU asylum seekers, which Italy, Spain and Greece propose to introduce in the EU, Deputy Prime Minister Jan Hamacek (Social Democrats, CSSD) told CTK on Tuesday. The European Commission is going to present its proposal of a new form of the EU migration and asylum strategy in the next few weeks.
