Nothing will change about the Czech Republic's negative stance on the Russian annexation of Crimea, Foreign Minister Tomas Petricek (Social Democrats, CSSD) told journalists after meeting his Ukrainian counterpart Vadym Prystaiko on Tuesday. "The Czech Republic has never recognised the annexation of Crimea and we are definitely not preparing to do so in the future," Petricek said, adding that his country wants to support reforms in Ukraine that he considers important for Czech-Ukrainian cooperation in trade and the economy.
