June 15th, 2021

The Czech Republic reports a slump in the numbers of temporary foster parents caring for children in need as 732 people were engaged in foster care at the end of 2020, which is the lowest figure in the past five years, a report of the Labour and Social Affairs Ministry showed on Tuesday. In contrast, the highest number of foster parents was recorded in 2017 when over 900 people provided foster care.
