The Czech Republic fared the worst of the 42 assessed countries in meeting the recommendations issued by the Council of Europe anti-corruption group (GRECO) in 2019, according to GRECO's annual report assessing the members' progress in preventing the corruption of MPs, judges and state attorneys. The report is based on last year's data. Czechia's position has slightly improved since, as it met one of the 14 recommendations this year.
