Czechoslovak anti-Nazi paratroopers commemorated in Prague

A commemoration was held in the Saint Cyril and Saint Methodius Cathedral in Prague f Friday to commemorate a seven-man paratrooper unit who in 1942 killed Reinhard Heydrich, one of the architects of the Holocaust and Deputy Reich-Protector of Bohemia and Moravia, and sacrificed their lives during the operation. Flowers and wreaths were laid by the chairman of the Chamber of Deputies, Radek Vondracek, Culture Minister Lubomir Zaoralek, Labour and Social Affairs Minister Jana Malacova, Foreign Minister Jakub Kulhanek, Chief of Staff Ales Opata and representatives of the Presidential Office.
