Czechia has seen nearly 270,000 infected and 2,365 deaths since the COVID-19 epidemic outbreak on March 1 and the New York Times (NYT) reports that the country has been the world number two in the number of cases per 100,000 inhabitants since October 11 and in deaths since October 22. The Principality of Andorra with some 77,500 inhabitants ranks first on the global scale.
