Czechia total coronavirus death toll exceeds 21,000

The number of deaths of COVID-19 patients in Czechia has exceeded 21,000, the last thousand occurring in six days, with the daily increase in new confirmed coronavirus cases reaching 15,088 on Wednesday, 1,300 more than a week ago, the Health Ministry's data show. Wednesday's number of the newly detected cases is the tenth highest since the epidemic's outbreak in Czechia one year ago.
