The Czech Republic saw the record high number of new confirmed COVID-19 cases during the entire epidemic since March 2020, 28,469, on Tuesday, which was 16,000 more than a week ago, according to the data the Health Ministry released on its website this morning. The Tuesday figure has beaten the previous record of 27,937 positive cases a day, registered on November 25, 2021.
